Singapore’s e-bond trading startup BondEvalue raises US$6M Series A, forms JV in Mexico
BondEvalue raised US$6 million in Series A round of fund raising from a slew of investors, including MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia and Citigroup. BondEvalue was established in 2016 to provide electronic bond trading and to make bond investments accessible to a wider group of individual investors.

Malaysian health techstartup Naluri raises $5m to boost SEA expansion
Naluri Hidup, a Malaysia-headquartered digital health service provider, has closed a new funding round worth US$5 million, led by Singaporean VC firm Integra Partners. Naluri provides structured multi-disciplinary support to those affected by diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, anxiety and depression.

Wagely, an Indonesian earned wage access and financial services platform, raises $5.6M
Wagely, a financial wellness platform that enables earned wage access (EWA) in Indonesia, has received US$5.6 million in a strategic round of investment, led by Integra Partners (formerly known as Dymon Asia Ventures). Wagely aims to reduce financial stress for millions of low- and middle-income workers, who struggle with unexpected financial expenses between pay checks.

Autopair raises funding to digitise auto workshops in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia
Autopair, an online automotive parts trading company in Thailand, has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-Series A financing round. Summit Auto Body Industry, one of Thailand’s largest suppliers of automotive parts, led the round. Prior to this, Autopair has raised US$500,000 in seed funding from KK Fund in 2018.

Alodokter raises fresh capital, claims 30M MAUs and 43K doctors on its telemedicine platform
Indonesian telemedicine “super app” Alodokter has announced that it has secured an additional investment from MDI Ventures, a subsidiary of Telkom group, and Samsung Ventures. Alodokter provides an end-to-end digital solution to patients including telemedicine, doctor booking, medical content, and health insurance services.

MooVita raises ‘multi-million dollars’ Series A to bring driverless cars to Singapore’s public roads
MooVita, an autonomous vehicle (AV) tech startups based in Singapore, has raised multi-million dollar amount in a Series A round of investment, led by Yinson Green Technologies Division, a subsidiary of Malaysian energy infrastructure company Yinson Holdings.

Vietnam’s HANET bags Series A from G-Group to take its AI camera to global market
HANET, a startup offering Artificial Intelligence-powered surveillance cameras in Vietnam, has received an undisclosed amount of investment from G-Group Technology Corporation at US$5 million valuation. The startup will use the funds to take its business into global markets. The AI camera is available in three variants: homes, offices, and shops.

SG sports and fintech-oriented game developer Beryllium nets $3m funding
Beryllium, a Singapore-based startup that aims to engage and educate the younger generation on how trading works through fantasy sports, today announced that it has secured US$3 million in pre-Series A round of investment, led by US-based Bullpen Capital. The Singaporean startup recently launched Sixer, a fantasy game where you can buy and sell fantasy stocks in cricket players.

Prixa raises US$3M to further expand its reach in the Indonesian healthcare market
Prixa, an Indonesia-based health tech startup that provides telemedicine and healthcare payment management service, announced a US$3 million funding round led by MDI Ventures and Trans-Pacific Technology Fund. Founded in 2019 by James Roring, MD, the startup builds an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based healthcare management platform that includes basic medical services such as telemedicine

SG’s iGlobe Partners raises $100m fund to invest in cutting-edge sectors
Singapore-headquareterd cross-border VC firm, iGlobe Partners, today announced the closing of its third fund at US$100 million. iGlobe Platinum Fund III seeks to back startups building solutions in smart cities, synthetic biology, and fintech. With the fund, iGlobe aims to continue investing in growth-stage tech startups, from pre-Series A to Series C, over the next three years

Flash Express adds US$150M more to its kitty, becomes Thailand’s first unicorn
Flash Group, the company behind the leading express delivery service Flash Express in Thailand, has closed a combined US$150 million in its Series D+ and Series E rounds. The group will use the fresh capital for tech development and expansion into Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Property Guru to acquire Malaysia’s iProperty, Thailand’s think of living from REA Group
Singapore-headquartered Property Guru Group has signed an agreement to fully acquire REA Group’s operating entities in Malaysia and Thailand. ASX-listed REA sells iProperty.com.my, Brickz.my, thinkofliving.com, and Prakard.com in exchange for an 18% equity in PropertyGuru.

Robocash to raise US$5M from Kilde, aims to launch online bank in SEA
Robocash Group, a Singapore-headquartered B2C alternative lending company, has said that it is planning to raise US$5 million via bond placement from Kilde, a global private debt investment platform. Robocash Group was launched in 2013. Since then, it has been delivering alternative lending services in Asia and Europe.

500 Startups’s top execs set up new seed-stage VC firm Ascend Vietnam Ventures
Christened Ascend Vietnam Ventures (AVV) seeks to invest US$500K-US$2M each mainly in startups in fintech, edutech, future of work, health-tech, and enterprise SaaS. Binh Tran and Eddie Thai, the general partners of 500 Startups Vietnam, have joined hands together to launch a new VC firm targeting local seed-stage startups.
