Embedded Executive
An executive who takes the seat in a China business — to build, fix, or bridge.*
Judgment, Unfiltered
An Embedded Executive takes the senior operating seat in a China business and runs the work from inside. The role is shaped to the situation, drawing on two decades of operating experience in China.
When To Use It
Building. Entering a market, scaling an operation, or standing up a function that doesn't exist yet.
Fixing. A team, partner, or operating structure is in place but not delivering, and the calls need to be made on the ground.
Bridging. A senior HQ executive needs a China counterpart, or a senior role needs to be held through a transition or succession.
Engagement
An interim or fractional executive mandate, on monthly retainer.
- Six-month default term. Three-month minimum.
- Six to eight days per month, with scope expanding to what the situation requires.
Pricing is shared in scope confirmation after the initial call.
What It Is Not
Not an advisory engagement, not a consulting retainer, not a full-time placement.
If the situation needs an executive running it, not an advisor, request an engagement.
